INVICTUS

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Its damn freaking hard to lose weight,

I regretted feasting the whole of 2009.

4 months into 2010, I have been watching every thing i eat.

But my metabolism suck, it takes super long to shed off the body fats.

10 years later

and i will look back at this post

and smiled because i have succeeded in life (my definition of succeeding in life is quite distinctive)

those who laughed at me today

i will be magnanimous and forgive them.

my confidences and self-beliefs are coming back.

Celebrated our 8th year together,

guess who made that? *grins

Amazing how time flies and we are loving each other more each day.

The formula?

"Always planning for something new to do, never allow the relationship to be stagnant for too long."
